2024 Olympics - Women's All Around Final

Can my heart/emotions/throat handle this? Women's All-Around Final from the Bercy Arena. Coupe de Baton moment done by Nadia Comaneci. Luisa Blanco with her blue leo and sombrero. White leo with blue flowers for Stewart. Red leotard with diamantes for the British girls. Red leotard with diamantes and Romanian colours down side for Ghigoarta and Barbosu. Lots of red leotards today. Yellow leotard for Saraiva. Stunning leo for Ellie Black - Black and diamantes. Aqua/teal leo for the Italians with pattening and diamantes. Nemour - black and rose gold. Lee is wearing the red leo and Biles the blue as many of the gymternet guessed. Looks as though Andrade is wearing yellow as well. Gorgeous patterning. Okay I have not seen a single leo I dislike. Hop back on Vault for Lee. Quite delay in receiving her score. Andrade - almost stuck landing! Biles - Biles II - Good, so much power, hop back. Alice D'Amato - hop back on dty. QIU Qiyuan - counts a fall on the UB. Esposito - lands low in the chest and hop back. Nemour - solid DTY, step on landing. Naomi Visser - round off back handspring, beautiful presentation, double turn, hop forward on dismount. Saraiva - few small form issues but solid routine for her. After the first rotation, Biles leads over Andrade with Canadian Elsabeth Black in third. 

Black - step out of double turn, front somi, falls on her acro series, remounts, solid second acro series, solid 2.5 twist dismount. Andrade - great routine! Biles - Bent knees and extra swing on transition to low bar, fights way back. Kinsella - huge hop back. Solid routine for Ruby Pass on the Uneven Bars back in rotation one. Caught Esposito's dismount - hop to the side. OU Yushan -  solid routine. Nemour - small form break but phenomenal! Saraiva - really good routine for her!  Lee - crowd goes wild! Showed second half of Pass' routine, lovely routine. Fenton - lovely vault. Stumble on dismount for QIU Qiyuan. At the halfway mark Andrade leads over Nemour with Biles in third. 

QIU Qiyuan - small shuffles on floor, lovely performance. Biles - Solid start, slightly wild in her wolf turns but manages to save it, solid acro series, small balance check, great dismount small hop back. D'Amato - small balance checks in the routine and hop on dismount. Martins - hands down on the double twist. OU Yushan - lovely triple twist, misses her front punch and sits down, finishes well. Nemour - replay of the routine, looks good. Lee - small step on dismount and small balance checks. Andrade - flick layout, leg up high, double pike step forward. Black - 2.5 step out double tuck, such an entertaining performer, great routine. Showed the latter part of Pass' routine! Heading into the final rotation, Biles leads over Andrade with D'Amato in third. 

D'Amato -  expressive choreo, double double foot out of bounds, small steps back on her second pass, solid finish. Kinsella - back dive to candle mount, grabs bound to stop turning, solid jump series, side aerial layout series, off centre on dismount. Esposito - trouble on her first pass, but finishes well. Lovely handspring front full for Black. Nemour - some issues on landings. QIU Qiyuan - tsuk full twist. Lee -  SUNI You should be so freaking proud!! SHE'S GOING TO MEDAL!!!! Andrade - foot out on first pass, lovely second pass, solid DLO,  double pike to finish. Okay Simone Biles, final performer to go. SHE'S DONE IT!!

Competition begins on the Floor Exercise for the first day of the Apparatus Finals at the 2024 Men's Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Big hop on the second pass for Carlos Edriel Yulo. Day 2 EF - 2024 MAG Asian Championships

Today marks the final day of competition at the Asian MAG Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Senior Men's Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar finals will be contested along with all six finals for the Junior Men (see separate post) for the Junior results. I had commitments for the final three finals for the Juniors, so will update the post with the scores when I can. ` Okay, Vault time. TRINH Hai Khang - Solid first vault, huge second vault but has to take a large step back. Juancho Miguel Besana - I missed his first vault but judging by the score it was great! Second vault - great in the air, just a step off to the side. Carlos Edriel Yulo - solid - just low chest on the landing of his first vault; Floats in the air on his second vault, small sideways step on the landing. NG Chun Chen - huge flight but cannot control the landing, goes out of bounds and into the wall on his first vault; lands to his feet but then falls backwards on his second vault. 2024 Olympics - Gymnasts Chosen as Closing Ceremony Flag Bearers

Cyprus' Vera Tugolukova, who finished 16th in the Rhythmic Gymnastics All-Around competition.
