2024 Olympics - Men's Trampoline Qualification

Bercy Arena now plays host to the Men's Trampoline Qualifications. Gymnasts compete two voluntary routines in the Qualification round. The score breakdown is detailed below, with their best score of the two counting, with the top eight moving on to the final.

There are four components to their scores. Each routine is made up of 10 skills, all of which count for the difficulty score. There is also an execution score, with athletes starting at 20.0 and deductions taken for errors and flaws in form. The highest and lowest scores from the five execution judges are dropped, and the remaining three are added together for the final execution score. We then have a horizontal displacement score which reflects how close they remain to the centre of the trampoline bed, with the final component being time in flight which reflects how long they spend in the air. 

After the first exercises, Individual Neutral Athlete Ivan Litvinovich, leads over China's YAN Langyu and WANG Zisai. Portugal's Gabriel Albuquerque sits in fourth. After the second exercise Litvinovich qualifies to the final in first over WANG Zisai and YANG Langyu.

Day 2 EF - 2024 MAG Asian Championships

Today marks the final day of competition at the Asian MAG Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Senior Men's Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar finals will be contested along with all six finals for the Junior Men (see separate post) for the Junior results. I had commitments for the final three finals for the Juniors, so will update the post with the scores when I can. ` Okay, Vault time. TRINH Hai Khang - Solid first vault, huge second vault but has to take a large step back. Juancho Miguel Besana - I missed his first vault but judging by the score it was great! Second vault - great in the air, just a step off to the side. 2024 Olympics - Gymnasts Chosen as Closing Ceremony Flag Bearers
