2024 Olympics - Gymnasts Chosen as Closing Ceremony Flag Bearers

British Trampoline Gymnast and 2024 Olympic Champion Bryony Page will carry the flag along with Triathlete Alex Yee.

Kazakhstan Rhythmic Gymnast Elzhana Taniyeva who finished 13th All-Around in Paris, will carry her nation's flag along with Taekwondo star Batyrkhan Toleugali.

Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnast Boryana Kaleyn, who won the silver medal in the All-Around in Paris will join wrestler Semen Novikov in carrying their nation's flag. 

Praewa Misato Philaphandeth of Laos, who competed in the Individual Rhythmic Gymnastics competition will be her nation's flagbearer.

Day 2 EF - 2024 MAG Asian Championships

Today marks the final day of competition at the Asian MAG Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Senior Men's Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar finals will be contested along with all six finals for the Junior Men (see separate post) for the Junior results. I had commitments for the final three finals for the Juniors, so will update the post with the scores when I can. ` Okay, Vault time. TRINH Hai Khang - Solid first vault, huge second vault but has to take a large step back. Juancho Miguel Besana - I missed his first vault but judging by the score it was great! Second vault - great in the air, just a step off to the side. Carlos Edriel Yulo - solid - just low chest on the landing of his first vault; Floats in the air on his second vault, small sideways step on the landing. NG Chun Chen - huge flight but cannot control the landing, goes out of bounds and into the wall on his first vault; lands to his feet but then falls backwards on his second vault.
