So many beautiful leotards in this competition! Lots and lots of diamantes. Georgia Godwin on Vault - a couple of steps backward after a deep squat. Cara Kennedy - clear circle half turn, solid dismount. Ondine Achampong - slight short and low on landing. Jea Maracha - shap half, beautiful swings, giant full, double tuck dismount. Alice Kinsella - hop back but great form. Poppy-Grace Stickler - powerful Yurchenko full. Tara Donnelly - catches Jaeger close to bar and some issues on some of her skills. Naveen Daries - solid routine. Lovely black or is it navy leotard with black and white sleeves with diamantes and including the maple leaf. Tatiana Bachurina - stop swing on the transition to low bar and cannot recover fully so has a fall. Caitlin Rooskrantz - Round off full twist. A couple of stumbles for Tikumporn - he is receiving medical attention. Solid routine from TRINH Hai Khang. Few big steps on the landings from Robin Sim Boon Pin. GREAT ROUTINE From John Ivan Cruz. A good routine for LE Thanh Tung. A couple of landing issues but otherwise what an experience for Luqman. SENSATIONAL routine from Carlos Edriel Yulo - STUCK landings with the exception of his final pass. Final gymnast in this field is Singapore veteran Wei An Terry Tay. Some form issues, but otherwise a great routine for Terry. Yulo takes the gold over Tay with Vietnam's TRINH Hai Khang finishing in third.  Because of a delays it appears some of the gymnasts did not get a warm up. I am so confused. LOVE, LOVE. Qualification at the 2021 World Championships in Women's Artistic Gymnastics is taking place over two days in Kitakyushu, Japan. After the first 7 of 10 Subdivisions, U.S.A.'s Leanne Wong leads the All-Around qualification over compatriot Kayla di Cello and Japan's Hitomi Hatakeda with Portugal's Filipa Martins in fourth. Dutchwoman Elisabeth Geurts is top of the Vault standings over Italy's Asia D'Amato and Hungarian Csenge Maria Bacskay. China's WEI Xiaoyuan leads the Uneven Bars qualification over LUO Rui (CHN) and Zsofia Kovacs (HUN), whilst on the Balance Beam, LUO Rui leads over Germany's Pauline Schaefer-Betz and Leanne Wong. On the Floor Exercise, Japan's Mai Murakami leads over the American duo of Wong and di Cello. Brazil's Rebeca Rodrigues de Andrade has topped the Vault qualification over Geurts and D'Amato, whilst on the Balance Beam, LUO Rui qualifies as the highest scorer over Russian Gymnastics Federation's Angelina Melnik...

The first day of event finals is taking place at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre. Simone Biles of the United States has withdrawn and will be replaced by compatriot Mykayla Skinner in the Vault final and Melanie de Jesus dos Santos of France in the Uneven Bars final. We begin with Men's floor exercise: I feel as though Nikita had a rough routine. Zapata Santana - Front layout 1.5, deep squat combo front line, double pike half out, lovely tumbling, double layout. Moldauer - half in, half out, solid lines, falters on his flares, triple twist, hop back. Dolgopyat - double front half out, triple twisting double slight issues on landing, out of bounds and off centre, Russian swings, finishes with the stuck pass. KIM Hansol - double pike half out hop backward, hop forwards or backward on his next few passes, sits down on his non-acrobatic skills, deep and hop-forward on his final pass.  Today, the Women's All-Around Final will be contested at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre. United States of America's Jade Carey comes in to replace compatriot Simone Biles who has withdrawn with all the support of the world to focus and put herself and her mental health first. Biles is being evaluated daily to see whether she will participate in the event finals. Dutch gymnast Lieke Wevers also comes into the competition to replace Canadian Elsabeth Black who has withdrawn due to a sprained left ankle. Black remains hopeful to compete in the Balance Beam final.  After the first rotation, Rebeca Rodrigues de Andrade leads over USA's Jade Carey and ROC's Angelina Melnikova. After a fantastic Uneven Bars rotation, Andrade leaves over Sunisa Lee of the United States and Melnikova. Heading into the final rotation, Lee leads over Russian Vladislava Urazova and Andrade. Today's competition in Artistic Gymnastics sees the Men's All-Around Final take place in the Ariake Gymnastics Centre. Japan's Daiki Hashimoto was the top scorer in the qualifications over Russian Olympic Committee's Nikita Nagornyy and China's XIAO Ruoteng. Illia Kovtun - hop back. Where's Illia's coach? Joe Fraser - Double front half-out, few hops back on a couple of his landings but a solid start. LEE Junho - big step forward on triple twist vault. Philipp Herder - a couple of massive steps forwards on double front. XIAO Ruoteng - SOLID! Brody Malone - great routine on the Pommel Horse. What an exciting and drama-filled final it was. Simone Biles withdrew after a scary-looking vault citing her mental and emotional health. Sunisa Lee stepped in on Floor Exercise and Jordan Chiles competed on the Uneven Bars and Balance Beam. Russian Olympic Committee won the Team Title with Great Britain earning the bronze medal. ROC wore a gorgeous blue and white leotard with diamantes. Red and yellow leotard with silver diamantes for China. Stylish white leotard with blue and white patterning and silver diamantes for France. Belgium wore a black sleeved with silver diamantes and red, gold, and black diamantes with the white bottom half. Italy wore a stunning deep blue leotard with silver diamantes and mesh-looking sleeves. Japan wears a white and blue leotard with diamantes.
