2023 Worlds - Event Finals Day Two

Great Britain's Jessica Gadirova has withdrawn from her remaining finals, meaning that she will be replaced in the Balance Beam final by Netherlands gymnast Sanne Wevers and by compatriot Alice Kinsella on the Floor Exercise. We start with the Men's Vault final: Khoi Young - such a personality. Love the American men's tops. SOLID Handspring front 2.5 twists! Excellent roundoff half on front layout double twist. Paul Juda - Yurchenko double pike, slightly bent in the landing and stepped out to the side; big hop forward on the Kasamatsu 1.5. Kevin Penev - great flight and small jump forward on the Kasamatsu 1.5; Shewfelt - well-performed hop on the landing out of bounds. Jake Jarman -  massive and well-executed first vault - the Yonekura; Loved the reaction of the first three gymnasts watching Jake vault; Dragulescu vault, just a massive step back. Harry Hepworth - beautifully performed Dragulescu just a hop sideways out of bounds; handspring front 2.5 twists and jars the landing. Artur Davtyan - oooppphh did not get the correct angle on the vault and piked and compressed landing to almost under the vaulting table; the crowd is spurring Davtyan on; SENSATIONAL Handspring front 2.5!! Igor Radivilov - Dragulescu - well performed with a small hop on landing; massive step on the landing of the second vault Tsukahara entry with two rotations in the pike position. Nazar Cherpunyi - Solidly performed Dragulescu; Double twisting Kasamatsu - slightly low in the landing and step out of bounds. Great Britain's Jake Jarman wins the Vault title over American Khoi Young with Ukraine's Nazar Chepurnyi winning bronze.

ZHANG Qingying - Switch leap to switch half to Korbut flip, roundoff layout, sits down on the beam on her leap, Yurchenko, lovely jump sequence, double pike dismount. Taking a bit of time to work out her score. Simone Biles - Looks so calm waiting for the score of ZHANG Qingying, solid mount, triple wolf turn, back handspring layout-layout, solid dismount!!!! Matteo Levantesi - having some form issues with his handstands and overbalances, Bhavsar, double pike somersault dismount with a massive step forward. Lucas Dauser - SENSATIONAL!!!!!
