Senior Asian Artistic Gymnastics Champs - Day Two Event Finals

Today marks the final day of competition at the 2023 Senior Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships which have been held in Singapore. Men's Apparatus Finals on the Vault, Parallel Bars, and Horizontal Bar will be contested with the Women's Balance Beam and Floor Exercise Finals also being contested. Philippines gymnast Juancho Miguel Besana comes into the Men's Vault final to replace the Republic of Korea's LEE Junho, whilst on the Women's Balance Beam, first reserve Emma Malabuyo of the Philippines comes in to replace Uzbekistan's Dildora Aripova. Carlos Edriel Yulo won the Vault title over Uzbekistan's Abdulaziz Mirvaliev and KIM Jaeho of the Republic of Korea. Yulo also took out the Parallel Bars title over Japan's Shinnosuke Oka and China's YIN Dehang. China's TIAN Hao earned the Horizontal Bar honours over Shinnosuke Oka and Carlos Edriel Yulo who were second and third respectively. On the Women's Balance Beam, China's ZHANG Qingying won the title over compatriot ZHANG Xinyi with Aleah Finnegan of the Philippines winning the bronze medal. ZHANG Qinying also earned the Floor Exercise over Emma Lauren Malabuyo of the Philippines (best-ever finish for a Philippean women's artistic gymnast), with the Republic of Korea's SHIN Solyi taking the bronze medal.

Competition begins on the Floor Exercise for the first day of the Apparatus Finals at the 2024 Men's Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Big hop on the second pass for Carlos Edriel Yulo. Day 2 EF - 2024 MAG Asian Championships

Today marks the final day of competition at the Asian MAG Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Senior Men's Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar finals will be contested along with all six finals for the Junior Men (see separate post) for the Junior results. I had commitments for the final three finals for the Juniors, so will update the post with the scores when I can. ` Okay, Vault time. TRINH Hai Khang - Solid first vault, huge second vault but has to take a large step back. Juancho Miguel Besana - I missed his first vault but judging by the score it was great! Second vault - great in the air, just a step off to the side. Carlos Edriel Yulo - solid - just low chest on the landing of his first vault; Floats in the air on his second vault, small sideways step on the landing. 2024 Olympics - Gymnasts Chosen as Closing Ceremony Flag Bearers
