2021 Olympics - Women's All Around Final
Today, the Women's All-Around Final will be contested at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre. United States of America's Jade Carey comes in to replace compatriot Simone Biles who has withdrawn with all the support of the world to focus and put herself and her mental health first. Biles is being evaluated daily to see whether she will participate in the event finals. Dutch gymnast Lieke Wevers also comes into the competition to replace Canadian Elsabeth Black who has withdrawn due to a sprained left ankle. Black remains hopeful to compete in the Balance Beam final. After the first rotation, Rebeca Rodrigues de Andrade leads over USA's Jade Carey and ROC's Angelina Melnikova. After a fantastic Uneven Bars rotation, Andrade leaves over Sunisa Lee of the United States and Melnikova. Heading into the final rotation, Lee leads over Russian Vladislava Urazova and Andrade.
