2024 Asian Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships - Senior Event Finals

JO Kyong Byol of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea comes in to replace Rifda Irfanaluthfi of Indonesia in the Uneven Bars Final. First reserve gymnast on Vault LIM Sumin came in to replace Kazakhstan's Aida Bauryzhanova. India's Dipa Karmakar narrowly edged the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's KIM Son Hyang for the Vault title with JO Kyong Byol winning the bronze. On the Uneven Bars, China's YANG Fangyuwei dominated in the final to take the Asian Championships title on the apparatus with JON Jang Mi of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea finishing in second with Philippines' gymnast Levi Ruivivar earning the bronze. China's QIN Xinyi and CHEN Xinyi finished first and second respectively on the Balance Beam with KIM Son Hyang finishing third. On the Floor Exercise, Emma Malabuyo of the Philippines triumphed over China's CHEN Xinyi with Kazakhstan's Aida Bauyrzhanova winning the bronze.

2023 Central American and Caribbean Games Women's Artistic TF & AA/EF Qualifications

Today sees the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Competition begin at the 2023 Centroamerican and Caribbean Games which is being held in San Salvador. Barbados declined the invitation to compete meaning the delegation of Puerto Rico has been increased from three to four gymnasts. After the first subdivision, the Mexican team has a commanding 10-point lead over Panama with Costa Rica sitting in third. Mexico's Natalia Isabel Escalera Cardenas sits atop the All Around rankings over compatriot Alexa Citlali Moreno Medina and Panama's Karla Andrea Navas Boyd. Moreno Medina also leads the Vault and Floor standings with compatriots Escalera Cardenas topping the Uneven Bars and  Paulina Campos Martinez top scoring on the Balance Beam.  The Team from Mexico remained dominant to win the team title over Panama with the team from Colombia winning the bronze medal.
