Day One Event Final Results - 2025 Varna World Challenge Cup
Yesterday saw the first day of Event Finals at the 2025 Varna World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics, being held at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Bulgaria. Austria's Martin Miggitsch came into the Men's Floor Final to replace Croatian Aurel Benovic who was the second-highest qualifier. Bulgarian brothers Eddie and Kevin finished 1-2 respectively with Australian Marcus Casamento earning the bronze. DANG Ngoc Xuan Thien of Vietnam took out the Pommel Horse title over Kazakhstan's Zeinolla Idrissov with Uzbekistan's Abdulla Azimov winning the bronze medal. Whilst on the Still Rings, Turkiye's Adem Asil won the honours over Vietnam's NGUYEN Van Khanh Phong with Argentina's Daniel Villafane finishing in third.
In terms of the Women's competition, Great Britain's Ruby Stacey won the Vault title over Bulgaria's own Valentina Georgieva with Croatia's Tijana Korent winning the bronze medal; whilst on the Uneven Bars, American Nola Matthews took the title over Ruby Stacey with Luxembourg's Celeste Mordenti in third.
