2025 Europeans - Day One Event Finals

Today marks the first day of the Apparatus Finals at the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics European Gymnastics Championships in Leipzig, Germany. After suffering an injury in the Women's All-Around Final, Germany's Helen Kevric is replaced in the Uneven Bars final by Romanian Ana Barbosu. Sofia Tonelli of Italy also comes into the Uneven Bars final, after being the joint first reserve for the final. Great Britain's Luke Whitehouse won the Floor Exercise over compatriot Harry Hepworth with Italy's Lorenzo Minh Casali finishing in third. On the Vault, Karina Schoenmaier of Germany won the title over Bulgaria's Valentina Georgieva and Lisa Vaelen of Germany. On the Pommel Horse, Armenia's Hamlet Manukyan and Mamikon Khachatryan finished first and second respectively with Italy's Gabriele Targhetta rounding out the top three. Belgium's Nina Derwael took the Uneven Bars honours over Hungary's Bettina Lili Szifra with replacement athlete Ana Barbosu winning the bronze medal. What a Still Rings final!!! Greece's Eleftherios Petrounias wins his 8th European title TIED with Turkiye's Adem Asil!! Armenia's Artur Avetisyan wins the bronze.

2025 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships

The 2025 European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics is set to be held in Leipzig, Germany from the 26th to 31st May 2025. Within this competition, we will see Team Competition, Individual All Around, and Apparatus Finals. This will also see the first Mixed Team Final which will see the top 16 teams made up of 1 Male and 1 Female from their qualifying nations compete. The Men will compete on the Floor Exercise, Parallel Bars, and Horizontal Bar, with the Women competing on the Vault, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise, with their scores combining to determine the winning team. Day 1 EF - 2024 MAG Asian Championships

Competition begins on the Floor Exercise for the first day of the Apparatus Finals at the 2024 Men's Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Big hop on the second pass for Carlos Edriel Yulo. Solid through the remainder of the routine. Long wait for his score. His compatriot John Ivan Cruz is up next: Solid tumbling, hop forward on his front twisting pass, a good routine for him otherwise. Kazakhstan's Dmitriy Patanin - hop out of bounds on his first pass, some big tumbling and a solid routine. I feel like the lighting kept changing on him. Erkhembayar Usukhbayar - lands out of bounds on his first pass and a step back on the second pass, lovely spindles, looks like he steps out on his penultimate pass and a step to the side and low in his final pass. Day 2 EF - 2024 MAG Asian Championships

Today marks the final day of competition at the Asian MAG Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Senior Men's Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar finals will be contested along with all six finals for the Junior Men (see separate post) for the Junior results. I had commitments for the final three finals for the Juniors, so will update the post with the scores when I can. ` Okay, Vault time. TRINH Hai Khang - Solid first vault, huge second vault but has to take a large step back. Juancho Miguel Besana - I missed his first vault but judging by the score it was great! Second vault - great in the air, just a step off to the side. Carlos Edriel Yulo - solid - just low chest on the landing of his first vault; Floats in the air on his second vault, small sideways step on the landing.
