2025 World University Games - Rhythmic Individual & Groups Apparatus Finals

How are we here, the final day of the Rhythmic Gymnastics competition at the 2025 World University Games already? Today sees the Apparatus Finals for both the Individuals and Groups. Things kick off with the Hoop Final, with Uzbekistan's Takhmina Ikromova winning the title over Germany's own Anastasia Simakova and Fanni Pigniczki of Hungary, who finished in second and third, respectively. In the Individual Ball Final, Germany's Margarita Kolosov won the title over the Individual Neutral Athlete Alina Harnasko, with fellow German Anastasia Simakova earning the bronze medal. We change to the Group competition, with the 5 Ribbons final about to get underway. The Group from Azerbaijan wins the 5 Ribbons title over Ukraine, with the Republic of Korea finishing in third. Harnasko dominated the Individual Clubs final, with Ikromova finishing second over Anastasiia Salos (AIN), whilst Ikromova picked up the Ribbon honours over Harnasko, with Kazakhstan's Aibota Yertaikyzy finishing in third. The Group from Ukraine won the 3 Balls & 2 Hoops Apparatus Final, with Azerbaijan and Chinese Taipei rounding out the top three.

2025 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships

The 2025 European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics is set to be held in Leipzig, Germany from the 26th to 31st May 2025. Within this competition, we will see Team Competition, Individual All Around, and Apparatus Finals. This will also see the first Mixed Team Final which will see the top 16 teams made up of 1 Male and 1 Female from their qualifying nations compete. The Men will compete on the Floor Exercise, Parallel Bars, and Horizontal Bar, with the Women competing on the Vault, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise, with their scores combining to determine the winning team.
