2025 World Artistic Champs - EFs Day 1 Results

It was an exciting, penultimate day of competition at the Senior Artistic Gymnastics World Championships yesterday. Great Britain's Jake Jarman and Luke Whitehouse finished 1-2 on the Floor Exercise over Carlos Edriel Yulo of the Philippines. China's HONG Yanming won the Pommel Horse title with a tiebreak over Armenia's Khachatryan, with Patrick Hoopes of the U.S. finishing in third. U.S.A's Donnell Whittenburg won the Still Rings honours over Turkiye's Adem Asil and China's LAN Xingyu. China's DENG Yalan seemed to have an off run up to her first vault, jumping over the horse and after consultation did not complete a second vault and is recorded as a DNS. Individual Neutral Athlete Angelina Melnikova took the title over Canada's Lia-Monica Fontaine with Joscelyn Roberson taking out third place. 2025 Worlds - Senior Men and Women's EF Day 2

We come to the final day of competition at the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships at the IMS Arena in Jakarta, Indonesia. Carlos Edriel Yulo of the Philippines won the Vault title over Armenia's Artur Davtyan with Ukraine's Nazar Chepurnyi picking up the bronze. On the Parallel Bars, China's ZOU Jingyuan put on a masterclass to win the title over Japan's Tommaso Tsunogai and Individual Neutral Athlete Daniel Marinov. Brody Malone of the United States won the Horizontal Bar honours over Japan's Daiki Hashimoto, with Joe Fraser of Great Britain finishing in third. For the Women, China's ZHANG Qingying outclassed the field on the Balance Beam. winning the title over Algeria's Kaylia Nemour and Aiko Sugihara of Japan. Sugihara took the Floor title over Great Britain's  Ruby Evans   and  Abigail Martin,   who finished second and third respectively. 2025 World Champs - Women's All Around Final

 After the thrill and excitement of yesterday's Men's All-Around final, we now turn to the Women's All-Around Final.... Who will triumph at the IMS Arena in Jakarta, Indonesia? After the first rotation, Individual Neutral Athlete Angelina Melnikova leads over Dulcy Caylor of the United States of America, with Japan's Aiko Sugihara in third. At the halfway point, Melnikova leads over Algeria's Kaylia Nemour and Leanne Wong of the United States of America. Hungary's Zoja Szekely has withdrawn from the final, and we wish her well.  Fall from Melnikova on the Beam and a rough routine from Karina Schoenmaier. Fall from Nemour on the Kosac turn. Heading into the final rotation, China's ZHANG Qingying leads over Kaylia Nemour with Melnikova in third. 2025 World Champs - Men's All Around Final

Tonight sees the Men's Artistic Gymnastics All Around final being contested at the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia. After the first rotation, Japan's Shinnosuke Oka leads over compatriot Daiki Hashimoto and Frenchman Anthony Mansard. After the second rotation, Hashimoto leads from Switzerland's Noe Seifert and Shinnosuke Oka.  At the halfway point, Shinnosuke Oka leads over ZHANG Boheng of China with Daiki Hashimoto in third. After the fourth rotation, there is no change to the top three. Shinnosuke Oka falls on Floor Exercise - he has been unwell this week. Heading into the final rotation, Daiki Hashimoto leads over China's ZHANG Boheng and SHI Cong. Japan's Daiki Hashimoto wins his third All Around title. 2025 Worlds - WAG Quals

The first three subdivisions of Women's Qualifications are underway at the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia. After the first subdivision, Japan's Aiko Sugihara leads the All Around qualification over compatriot Rina Kishi, with Dutchwoman Naomi Visser in third. Charlize Moerz of Austria leads the Vault qualification, Visser top scored on the Uneven Bars, Sugihara leads the Balance Beam standings, with Rina Kishi on top of the Floor Exercise standings. At the conclusion of the first day of the Women's Qualifications, Algeria's Kaylia Nemour leads on the Uneven Bars over Dutchwomen Naomi Visser and Sanna Veerman. Canada's Lia-Monica Fontaine leads on the Vault, Canadian Elsabeth Black on the Balance Beam and Rina Kishi leads on the Floor.
