Day Two Qualifications - 2025 Cairo Apparatus World Cup

The second day of Qualifications is being contested at the 2025 Cairo Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup. Armenia's Artur Davtyan and Ukrainian Nazar Chepurnyi have qualified in first and second respectively to the Vault final with Italian Tommaso Brugnami in third. On the Parallel Bars, Switzerland's Noe Seifert earned the top mark over Chepurnyi and Egypt's Mohamed Afify. Kazakhstan's Milad Karimi impressed on the Horizontal Bar to be the top qualifier to the final over CHOE Wi Song (PRK) and Marios Georgiou (CYP).

In terms of the Women's Competition, Algeria's Kaylia Nemour outclassed the field on the Balance Beam with Canadian Rose Woo and Bulgaria's Valentina Georgieva rounding out the top three qualifiers. Egypt's own Jana Mahmoud is the top qualifier to the Floor Exercise final, after recording the highest mark over the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's CHON Jin A and Nemour.

The competition from the Cairo International Stadium continues tomorrow with the first day of event finals.

2025 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships

The 2025 European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics is set to be held in Leipzig, Germany from the 26th to 31st May 2025. Day 1 EF - 2024 MAG Asian Championships

Competition begins on the Floor Exercise for the first day of the Apparatus Finals at the 2024 Men's Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Big hop on the second pass for Carlos Edriel Yulo. Solid through the remainder of the routine. Long wait for his score. His compatriot John Ivan Cruz is up next: Solid tumbling, hop forward on his front twisting pass, a good routine for him otherwise. Kazakhstan's Dmitriy Patanin - hop out of bounds on his first pass, some big tumbling and a solid routine. I feel like the lighting kept changing on him. Erkhembayar Usukhbayar - lands out of bounds on his first pass and a step back on the second pass, lovely spindles, looks like he steps out on his penultimate pass and a step to the side and low in his final pass. Day 2 EF - 2024 MAG Asian Championships

Today marks the final day of competition at the Asian MAG Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Senior Men's Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar finals will be contested along with all six finals for the Junior Men (see separate post) for the Junior results. I had commitments for the final three finals for the Juniors, so will update the post with the scores when I can. ` Okay, Vault time. TRINH Hai Khang - Solid first vault, huge second vault but has to take a large step back. Juancho Miguel Besana - I missed his first vault but judging by the score it was great! Second vault - great in the air, just a step off to the side.
