2025 Cairo Apparatus World Cup - Event Finals Day 2

The final day of competition is underway at the Cairo International Stadium with the 2025 Cairo Apparatus World Cup coming to a close today. Morocco's Salina Bousmayo comes into the Balance Beam final to replace Uzbekistan's Lobar Amrillaeva. Algeria's Kaylia Nemour picked up her second gold medal, this time on Balance Beam with JO Kyong Byol (PRK) earning silver and Bulgarian Valentina Georgieva the bronze medal. On the Men's side, consistency paid off for Armenian Artur Davtyan, who outclassed the field earning the title over Ukraine's Nazar Chepurnyi and Uzbekistan's Abdulaziz Mirvaliev.  On the Women's Floor Exercise, Egypt's own Jana Mahmoud won the title with Kaylia Nemour (ALG) and CHON Jin A (PRK) finishing second and third respectively. 2025 Cairo Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup - Day 1 Event Finals

Kazakhstan's Milad Karimi won the Floor Exercise title over Bulgarian Eddie Penev and Ukraine's Nazar Chepurnyi at the 2025 Cairo Apparatus World Cup. Ukraine's Yurii Yemelianov replaced Italian Niccolo Vannucchi in the final. On the Pommel Horse, Armenia's Hamlet Manukyan took the title over Italy's Gabriele Targhetta and American Patrick Hoopes. Whilst over on the Still Rings, Armenia's Artur Avetisyan took the honours over Azerbaijan's Nikita Simonov with Egypt's Omar Mohamed winning the bronze medal.  For the Women, Canada's Elsabeth Black won the Vault title over JO Kyong Byol (PRK) and Judy Abdalla of Egypt who finished second and third respectively; whilst on the Uneven Bars, Armenia's Kaylia Nemour put on yet another masterclass to take the honours over Slovenia's Lucija Hribar, with Egypts Judy Abdalla adding another bronze medal to her name. Day Two Qualifications - 2025 Cairo Apparatus World Cup

The second day of Qualifications is being contested at the 2025 Cairo Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup. Armenia's Artur Davtyan and Ukrainian Nazar Chepurnyi have qualified in first and second respectively to the Vault final with Italian Tommaso Brugnami in third. On the Parallel Bars, Switzerland's Noe Seifert earned the top mark over Chepurnyi and Egypt's Mohamed Afify. Kazakhstan's Milad Karimi impressed on the Horizontal Bar to be the top qualifier to the final over CHOE Wi Song (PRK) and Marios Georgiou (CYP). In terms of the Women's Competition, Algeria's Kaylia Nemour outclassed the field on the Balance Beam with Canadian Rose Woo and Bulgaria's Valentina Georgieva rounding out the top three qualifiers. Qualifications are underway at the next stop on the 2025 FIG Apparatus World Cup calendar in Cairo, Egypt. Bulgarian Valentina Georgieva has top scored to qualify for the Vault final over JO Kyong Byol of the People's Democratic Republic of Korea with Canadian Elsabeth Black qualifying in third. Whilst on the Uneven Bars, Kaylia Nemour of Algeria put on a masterclass to qualify in first over Slovenia's Lucija Hribar and Uzbekistan's Dildora Aripova. For the Men, Kazakhstan's Milad Karimi is the top qualifier on the Floor Exercise over Bulgaria's Eddie Penev and Ukraine's Nazar Chepurnyi. 2025 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships

The 2025 European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics is set to be held in Leipzig, Germany from the 26th to 31st May 2025. Within this competition, we will see Team Competition, Individual All Around, and Apparatus Finals. This will also see the first Mixed Team Final which will see the top 16 teams made up of 1 Male and 1 Female from their qualifying nations compete. The Men will compete on the Floor Exercise, Parallel Bars, and Horizontal Bar, with the Women competing on the Vault, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise, with their scores combining to determine the winning team.
