2024 BRICS Games - Artistic Gymnastics Event Finals - Day 2

Today saw the final day of the Artistic Gymnastics competition at the 2024 BRICS Games in Kazan, Russia. Russian Federation's Nikita Nagornny won the Vault title over compatriot Daniel Marinov, with Belarussian Yahor Sharamkou winning the bronze medal. Daniel Marinov outclassed the field on the Parallel Bars, with fellow Russian Federation gymnast, Vladislav Polyashov and Alisher Toibazarov of Kazakhstan finishing in second and third respectively. Sergey Neydin of the Russian Federation outclassed the field on the Horizontal Bar, with Marinov finishing in second place over Enkhtuvshin Damdindorj of Mongolia. In the Women's competition, Russian Federation's Mariya Agafonova won the Balance Beam title over Thailand's Sasiwimon Mueangphuan, with Belarussian Kira Maharevich finishing third.  Anna Mantashyan (Armenia) did not compete in the Floor Exercise final which was won by Anna Kalmykova of the Russian Federation. Fellow Russian Federation gymnast Leyla Vasilyeva finish

2024 BRICS Games - Day One Event Finals

Today saw the first day of event finals at the 2024 BRICS Games in Kazan, Russia.  Belarussian Yahor Sharamkou took out the Floor Exercise over the Russian Federation's Nikita Nagornyy, with Belarussian compatriot Yaraslau Krutau taking out the bronze medal. Was a tough final for Kazakhstan's Alisher Toibazarov who went out of bounds and put his hands down on landing short on his penultimate pass. Yahor Sharamkou, showed such power and solid landings in all of his tumbling passes. Yaraslau Krutau - Started solidly, not as clean in the landings as his compatriot but a solid routine.  He was wrapped with that effort! Nagornyy is up next. Oh it seems that the Women's vault competitors are out on the competition floor watching already. Step out of bounds on second pass for Nagornyy and deep/low chest in the landing of his third pass, great final pass. Nagornyy originally scored a 13.866, however it seems a successful petition was made to increase his score. Artur Dalaloyan - la
